The Square D HOM120PCAFIC is a 20-amp Single-Pole AFCI (Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter) circuit breaker for Square D Homeline load centers.
AFCI breakers detect dangerous arc faults, the leading cause of home electrical fires, before they ignite. Per NEC 2020 requirements, AFCI protection is required in nearly all living spaces including bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, kitchens, and laundry areas.
