The BRK BRK is a hardwired ionization Smoke Alarm with battery backup for continuous protection even during power outages.
Ionization smoke detectors are highly responsive to fast-flaming fires. Interconnectable with other compatible alarms so all units sound when one detects smoke. Meets NFPA 72 requirements for residential smoke detection. 10-year sealed battery backup eliminates the need for battery replacement.
